Important Information for patients

If you are suffering from a dental problem, your dentist or dental hospital should be contacted for advise.

If you are having a problem with your eyes contact one of your local opticians for assessment. ( aged 2 years and over)

If you require advice and treatment for your cold or flu, sunburn or hayfever as well as many other minor ailments, Please contact your local Pharmacy. Pharmacists have expanded their service to prescribe antibiotics for women with most urine or bladder infections as well as cases of impetigo skin infection.

Hepatitis C Checks

We can now offer Hepatitis C checks at the surgery through a simple blood test.  The following patients are eligible for testing:

HAD A BLOOD TRANSFUSION BEFORE 1991

HAVE EVER INJECTED/SNORTED/SMOKED DRUGS - One injection is enough - many patients who injected years ago will not know they are infected

WERE BORN OUTSIDE THE UK OR HAVE HAD MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENT ABROAD - In particular from India/Pakistan/Africa or Eastern Europe

HAD A TATTOO OR BODY PIERCING IN UNLICENSED PREMISES

Access & Parking

Both entrances to the health centre are accessible and are therefore suitable for the disabled.  There is a disabled toilet within the practice. Designated disabled parking spaces are located nearest to the rear entrance of the Health Centre.

Other parking is available within the health centre premises car park.
