We run an appointment system in this Practice.  You will be given a time at which the doctor and Nurse hope to be able to see you.  You should not wait more than 30 minutes in the waiting room without receiving an explanation for the delay.

Urgent Appointments

If you feel you need to see a doctor urgently, we will give you an emergency appointment on the same day.  These appointments are reserved for urgent medical problems only.

Routine Checks

Patients aged between 16 and 74 can have a check up with a nurse or doctor if they have not been seen by one of the practice staff in the previous 3 years. Patients aged 75 years and over are eligible for an annual check-up with a nurse or a doctor if they have not attended in the preceding year.

Expressing Preference of a Practitioner:

You may see any doctor or nurse in the Practice.  If you insist on seeing one particular person, you may have to wait longer.

Telephone Enquiries

We would be grateful if telephone enquiries, which do not involve house calls or appointments, could be made after 1.00pm.  You may well find this to your own convenience, since the telephone is particularly busy in the mornings.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment in order that we may offer the slot to someone else.
