Our practice nurse can be seen without necessarily seeing the doctor. She will be able to help with many problems including wounds, burns and dressings, removal of stitches, immunisations and ear syringing. Other referrals arranged by the doctor, e.g., blood tests, swabs, urine tests and blood pressure checks. Please telephone 01389 828600 for an appointment. The practice nurse is also available for advice over the telephone.
Phlebotomy clinic is held on Monday, Wednesday & Friday between 11 and 12. Our staff are bound by the same code of confidentiality you would expect from your doctor.
Our practice manager ensures the smooth running of the Practice and is always grateful to hear any comments and suggestions you may have about the services offered by the Practice.
The receptionists will assist you in making appointments, answering any queries you may have and order repeat prescriptions. They will offer help and assistance at all times.
The District Nurses provide nursing assistance for patients who are unable to attend the Surgery. Tel. No. 01389 828315, 8.30am-9.30am, 2pm–3.30pm, 24hour answerphone.
The Health Visitors work as part of the Primary Care Team, promoting health and preventive medicine. They work with all age groups within the community and will see patients within their own home or at a clinic. They can be contacted by telephone between 9am and 4pm on 01389 828324. Also 24 hour answerphone.

Diana Collins - MSc Occupational Therapy (GCU 2007) is our new Community Link Worker attached to our Practice. Often there is no medical solution to cure how you are feeling. Many wide-ranging issues can affect our wellbeing including:

As Community Link Worker, Diana can help you link in with activities and specialist resources in this area covering a range of needs, topics and interests. You can self refer or discuss with your GP/Practice Nurse/Reception Team. Diana is here on a Monday and appointments are approximately 30 minutes. Please feel free to make a no obligation appointment with Diana
Lauren Meehan is our new Phlebotomist and will be here on a Wednesday. Lauren is qualified to perform phlebotomy, height and weight checks, and blood pressure checks.
